About the six-hole ocarina
A small six-hole ocarina (陶笛) in C, made at fans' request by the designer of the bamboo-style dizi series. It is modelled 1:1 on a real six-hole ocarina. The designer says it needs no supports and sounds as soon as you blow into it.
They adjusted the tuning and volume many times and describe it as free of extraneous noise, with a bright, strong high register. The print profile is set up so you can print it straight away; it uses about 30 g of filament.
One warning from the designer: if your build plate isn't perfectly clean, don't turn off the skirt (brim) in the profile, or the ocarina can come loose during printing. Six-hole ocarinas have a smaller range than the 12-hole kind, but they are simple to learn and easy to carry.
