About the Single Print Ocarina

This ocarina prints in one piece with no gluing or tuning. The designer says it took a lot of experimenting, 'and a ton of ABS', to get right. It plays a full octave and more. The latest version with a 60° tone hole goes from 311 Hz to 846 Hz, and the original went from 367 to 785 Hz. Later updates tweaked the tone hole so the high notes take firmer breath, and fixed a mid-seam problem at 0.2 mm layers or less. When all the holes are covered, blow lightly.

The first video is the designer's demo. The second is a comparison of printable ocarinas by other makers, featuring an experienced player. As the designer admits, it didn't fare well in that review, so judge for yourself.
