About the Printable Trumpet v2
Updated to Version 2 (2015). We used to list the designer's original Printable Trumpet, one of the best-known printed trumpets, loosely modelled on a Bach Stradivarius. He found its sound and playability 'honestly pretty bad' and redesigned it. This is that second version; none of the original parts fit it, apart from perhaps the mouthpiece.
For Version 2 he widened the tubes, especially in the middle, and made them round instead of oval. It should still print without supports, and it's more printer-friendly: most pieces are 5 inches or less, the tallest about 5.6 inches. With suitable valve springs you don't need rubber bands to hold the valves down, though you may still want bands or braces to stop the tubes wobbling. He finished it in July 2015 and says it still doesn't sound great.
The video is a maker building and playing Version 2. The original is still on Thingiverse, linked below, for its history.
