About the bird sound slide whistle
Also called a bird-sound whistle, this slide whistle can imitate birdsong. Keep blowing into the mouthpiece while you move the slider: pushing it in sets the pitch, and pulling it back quickly changes the rhythm of the trill. The slider head and its rod are joined by a thread.
The designer recommends PLA for a smoother bore. Their main tip is to wrap the slider head in a layer of smooth tape (clear, rubber or similar). That makes it more airtight and stops the plastic-on-plastic squeak. It's hugely popular on MakerWorld, with thousands of prints.
