About the Bassoon reed vials

Bassoon reeds need air to dry and protection from knocks. These vials and boxes each hold a single reed on a ventilated mandrel, with ventilation holes at the other end. They should fit most reed sizes. The walls are thin, so clear filament leaves them fairly transparent, and small indents at the ends help release them from the bed.

Version 1.1 adds a lid for the rectangular box with guide pins at two corners. They keep the reed straight as it goes in and out, so the tip doesn't catch the side. The designer recommends it over the plain lid. Reeds go in your mouth, so use food-grade filament, or at least wash the parts well.
