About the Violin practice mutes
A practice mute clips onto the bridge and adds mass, cutting the instrument's volume dramatically, which neighbours will appreciate. Metal ones cost about $10 each. These printed ones, a variation on an earlier design, cost almost nothing. The designer tested them against a real metal practice mute and found they stacked up really well.
Print them as oriented, without supports. The high infill and four walls give them the weight a practice mute needs. Pair with the Hovalin, the printed violin.
