About the thumb rest cushion

The right thumb carries much of the weight of an oboe or clarinet, and the bare metal thumb rest can dig in. This cushion slips over a 3 × 17 mm metal rest. The designer made it at the request of a musician friend.

Print it in TPU and choose the infill for the feel you want: lower for a softer cushion, higher for a firmer one. The designer recommends 20–35% with a linear pattern.
