About the Maraca

A simple maraca shaker in four designs, each with a different top and handle. Each design comes as a whole version and a cut version. You print the whole version in one piece and fill it by pausing the print. The cut version screws together, so you can fill it afterwards.

The designer recommends printing the top hollow and the handle at about 30% infill, so it's light to shake but sturdy. For the one-piece version, pause the print at about 50% and drop in dry rice, beans, pebbles or whatever filler you like. Different fillers give different sounds. It's an easy first percussion print, and making a pair is the obvious next step.
