About the Kudu horn
Kudu horns, with their long spiral twist, are traditionally made into horns, including some shofars. This printed one was modelled smooth in Fusion 360 as a proof of concept, and it works. You play it like a brass instrument, buzzing your lips into the built-in mouthpiece. The designer, who has bigger lips, finds it easier to make a mouthpiece by forming a ring with thumb and forefinger.
The full 66 cm version can be scaled or split however you like. The supplied three-part version fits an Ender 3 bed and printed without supports, with rafts for adhesion. The twist made locating lips hard to model, so the joints are flat and need gluing. Texture is left for remixers.
