About the Harp Lyre

Shaped like a small harp but played like a lyre, this instrument has one tunable diatonic octave strung with real nylon harp strings. The designer's wife, a professional harpist, inspired it, and she tunes and plays it in the video below. Lyre pins hold the strings at the top, and eyelets anchor them at the bottom. You tune it with a lyre tuning key.

The print used wood-fill PLA for the frame and sparkle PLA for the decorations. Four walls were enough for the frame to grip the tuning pins without slipping. It takes about 311 g of filament and a day of printing.
