About the Guitar mute

A quiet-practice mute for acoustic guitar from household bits. Two printed parts hold small pieces of kitchen sponge against the strings. An M3 × 30 bolt sets the spacing, and an elastic band holds it on. Cut the sponge into a 20 × 15 mm piece and a 10 × 5 mm piece, embed the bolt head in the print, fit the sponge and adjust until the strings are damped as much as you like.
