About the Dragon Recorder
A student designer sculpted a dragon in Blender and made it into a recorder as a Mother's Day present. He says it doesn't sound perfect but is 'a pretty fun print' that looks amazing, and it has been downloaded thousands of times. The bore uses measurements from Michal Fanta's recorder model on Printables, which the designer credits for getting it to sound at all.
Only the foot joint needs supports. Bed adhesion is recommended. He also suggests smoothing the inside of the bore, which he found improves the sound. Remixes that sound better are welcome. The two short videos are the designer's sound tests.
