About the bassoon boot joint cap

The designer rescued a neglected Lark bassoon that was missing its boot joint cap, the guard that covers the U-bend at the bottom of the boot joint, so they drew this simple replacement.

They're honest that they don't know whether it will fit other bassoons. Measure yours, print a test, and check it seats firmly before you rely on it. Rainbow filament is optional, and your orchestra director may have opinions.
