About the Banjo 5th-string capo

On a five-string banjo, the short fifth string starts partway up the neck, so a normal capo can't reach it. Players often fit small railroad spikes, which means drilling the neck. This clamp-on capo slides along the neck instead and pins the fifth string with a soft TPU pad. Tighten it with a printed knob on an M5 bolt.

The TPU pad comes in thick and thin versions, so you can choose the more comfortable one. The designer glued a scrap of TPU over the bolt end so it can't mark the neck, and superglued the knob to the bolt. It gets in the way slightly, which is the trade-off for not drilling. It fit the designer's banjo and should fit many others.
