About the Alphorn

An alphorn of about 3.7 metres, printed in segments. The page is in German, and this is our summary. The designer printed it in two different wood filaments and sealed the inside with clear epoxy against moisture from playing. The push-fit joints have to be tuned to your printer, because the horn only stays together while you play if they fit very precisely. The rings for the bell are quite inaccurate, so file them to fit before gluing. The designer's video shows it played.
